Can I stream the game or post gameplay videos?
Yes, you are welcome to! Individuals, companies, and creators affiliated with companies or agencies may livestream the game and post gameplay videos. Monetization, including advertising revenue and Super Chats, is allowed, as are stream archives and highlight clips.
You do not need to request permission for each stream or video. If your company's internal process requires individual confirmation, please use the contact form. Images and logos for coverage are available in the press kit.
What does Streamer Mode do?
Streamer Mode replaces the artwork and names of beasts flagged for sensitive display, as well as those still awaiting classification, with default beasts of the same size and element. Their combat stats and moves remain unchanged.
Enable it from the title screen or Settings before entering a match. Use it when streaming supported online and Ghost Battle views.
How much does it cost?
It costs JPY 980 / US$6.99. It is a buy-once game, and nothing in the game costs extra money after you buy it.
Is there anything to pay for inside the game?
No. Colours, shapes, moves, rarity — none of the things that make a beast interesting can be bought.
When was it released?
Rakugaki Beast launched on September 24, 2026. Buy it on Steam for Windows or macOS.

What is the difference between the browser demo and the full game?
The demo covers the first part: you draw, and you get a beast card back. Watching your beasts at the ranch and taking them into 3-on-3 turn-based battles is the full game.
The demo can be played three times a day, and the card you get can be saved as an image.
Can I battle a friend in real time?
Play turn-based matches with a friend in real time using your existing teams. In Instant Battle, each player draws three beasts on the spot, reveals the results, and battles the other player in real time. You can also publish a team as a CPU-controlled ghost for others to challenge asynchronously.
Can I battle players outside my friend group?
Yes. Public online matchmaking lets you find other players and battle their teams in real time with beasts you draw. Your rating changes based on match results. Battles are turn-based.
What does the generation style change?
Choose Cool, Normal, or Cute before generating a beast to set the tone of its story, personality, catchphrases, and move names. This does not redraw your artwork.
Where is AI actually used?
AI reads your drawing and decides its element, moves, stats, and catchphrase. The result then passes through the game's own rules and safety checks before you see it.
Battle maths does not use AI. The same situation always produces the same result.
What happens to the picture I draw?
